Kestrel: shared daily care reporting for families (in development)
Many families of adults with developmental disabilities, especially in rural areas, drive long distances for day programs and are largely on their own the rest of the time. Kestrel is a shared daily care record that connects what staff observe during the day with what families see at home: meals, sleep, medications, behavior, and health notes in one place, ready to share with a clinician. Kestrel will be free for families. It is currently being piloted with a Virginia day program and is not yet publicly available.
Shared daily care record
Connects day-program staff observations with home routines so families and caregivers stay aligned on meals, sleep, medications, behavior, and health notes.
Ready to share with clinicians
Organizes day-to-day observations into clear records that families can review with physicians, behavioral specialists, and care coordinators.
Free for families
Kestrel will be free for families. The product is designed to relieve caregiver isolation and bridge communication without adding financial burden.
Current pilot status
Kestrel is currently being piloted with a Virginia day program and is not yet publicly available. We do not collect individual or family registrations, maintain waitlists, or collect information about individuals with disabilities on this website.
